After 30 years in government, local government, and predominantly commercial private sector, I decided to follow my dream of supporting businesses by assisting their owners to better understand their commercial requirements, as well as making a network of advisers and support people available to you.

As the founder of Biz Assist, I bring to you a range of business knowledge that I have acquired over the past 30 years. I’ve worked in government, local government, and predominantly commercial private sector. Most recently, I was CFO of a large group of companies, where strategy and growth was key to my role.
Having graduated Otago University as an Accountant, I have grown my knowledge base in a range of industries, from governmental to small FMCG businesses – I’ve also been on School Board of Trustees, where my role was to mentor and lead. I am commercially savvy, and able to work with sole traders through to larger businesses.
As CFO in my previous role, Leadership was key, and I bring to you a range of experience to help you lead the way in your chosen field, and to help you lead your team to success. I have a down to earth approach to working with people, and I believe in using plain English, and building trusting relationships.
